MYC was tasked with the design, mock-up and build-out of a new, expanded galley workstation area on a 61’ C&C.
To facilitate this, we removed a lower and upper bunk. The new work area consisted of a large countertop surface that lifted up to securely stow the custom-built carbon fiber cockpit table. The area also incorporated storage outboard and below, a liquor locker, as well as new pull-out, DC-powered freezer and refrigeration units to increase capacity. The main galley received new Corian countertops, a double sink with faucets and new tile backsplash.
The project also included removing and installing a new Northern Lights generator and updating the sailing instruments and autopilot.
