MYC maintains different makes and models of boats with jet drive propulsion systems in our storage fleet. Because of this, two of our mechanics are factory trained and certified Hamilton Jet technicians. To keep jet propulsion systems operating in top condition and reliable for an entire season, annual maintenance is required. First the system is taken apart requiring a high level of organization. Then, the buckets, nozzles, grates, etc. are put into a blast cabinet and the paint is removed to bare aluminum. The parts are then put in the spray booth where they are primed and painted with antifoul paint. The parts are then reassembled with the correct grease, torque specs and zincs for operation.
